Why this morning
Most of us were never taught how to think about money.
Not in school, and usually not at church either. So retirement, budgeting, giving, and what we leave behind get handled quietly — or put off entirely.
The Christian Stewardship Summit is three hours to change that. Two tracks run side by side: one for your own household, one for the people who handle a church’s finances. Come to either, or move between them.
This is teaching, not a sales presentation. No products are pitched from the front, no offering is taken, and nothing is for sale. You’ll leave with things you can actually do on Monday.

Questions people ask
Is it really free?
Yes. There's no cost, no offering taken, and nothing for sale. Christ-Centered Investing covers the cost of the morning.
Do I have to pick a track when I register?
No. We ask on the form so we can plan room sizes, but nothing is locked in. The two rooms are next to each other and you're free to move between sessions.
Can I bring my spouse, a friend, or a group from my church?
Please do. We just ask that each person register separately — fill out the form once per attendee. It takes about a minute each, and it means we know exactly who’s coming and can set out enough seating and handouts.
Is childcare available?
No — we're not able to provide childcare for this event, so please plan accordingly. The sessions are geared toward adults.
Do I need to be a member of Oakland Church?
Not at all. Oakland Church is hosting, and everyone is welcome regardless of where you attend.
Is this a sales pitch?
No. The sessions are teaching, there’s no offering, and nothing is for sale. Christ-Centered Investing hosts the summit because conversations like these are how people get to know us — so if something we cover raises a question about your own situation, we may follow up afterward to see whether a conversation would be useful. Always your call, and never an obligation.
